Too Little 5000 Years Too Late
If I ever renounce my firmly held belief in pacificism and join the military, it's barely slightly comforting to know that I could now be burried in a national military cemetary with a Wiccan pentacle on my headstone. Apparently, and in spite of making thirty-eight symbols of other religions and belief systems available to veterans, the VA dragged its feet on allowing the Wiccan pentacle for decades because of political reasons [read: fear of pissing off parachristian extremists]. Rather than lose ten lawsuits and be forced to capitulate as was imminent, the pentagon lawyers capitulated out of court but made the plaintiffs sign an agreement not to disclose any of the proceedings or discovered documents thus far.
